Services

Individual Therapy for Adults

I gladly offer individual adult therapy for anxiety, OCD, and mild-moderate depression. Adults sessions typically occur weekly for 50-60 minutes. Clients can expect weekly assignments to practice skills between sessions. As treatment progresses, therapy sessions are reduced with the aim of ending treatment once goals are achieved.

Individual Therapy for Kids and Teens

I love working with kids and teens. I offer individual therapy for anxiety, OCD, mild-moderate depression, executive functioning challenges, and behavioral concerns. Individual child and teen sessions are best suited for older school-aged children teens. Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes. However, longer sessions are sometimes required for exposure-based treatments for anxiety and OCD.

I invite parents to participate in child and teen treatment. I often recommend supplemental meetings with parents to assess treatment progress and to guide parents as they support their child in treatment.

Parent Training

Parenting books and resources are ubiquitous, but kids don’t come with manual that outlines how to parent them specifically. Parent training empowers parents to support their child’s development and address specific concerns such as anxiety, OCD, and a range of behavioral challenges. This is often a better approach than individual therapy with younger children. Parent training is also effective for older kids and teens when individual therapy is not indicated or when family-based interventions are needed for successful treatment.

Billing Information

My practice is private pay, which means I am an out-of-network provider and don't bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to use out-of-network insurance benefits to receive partial reimbursement for my services. I provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to seek out-of-network reimbursement if that is covered by your insurance plan. I recommend checking with your insurer about out-of-network reimbursement rates for the CPT codes below. Please note that HSA/FSA funds can also be used to cover session fees.

Common CPT billing codes and service rates:

  • Diagnostic intake - CPT Code: 90791

  • 50-minute therapy session - CPT Code: 90834

  • 60-minute therapy session - CPT Code: 90837

  • 60-minute parent meeting w/o child present - CPT Code: 90846

If you anticipate receiving services via telehealth, I recommend that you also check your insurance plan to determine if you will receive out-of-network reimbursement for telehealth sessions. All CPT billing codes for telehealth sessions have the added modifier “-95” at the end of the code (example: 90834-95 is the code for a 50-minute therapy session).
