I’ve had a natural curiosity about human psychology and a drive to support others for as long as I can remember, but the journey from personal interest to profession officially started at the University of Washington where I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology. After undergrad I spent several years conducting research at the UW exploring typical and atypical social development including research on social cognition in infants and neural differences among individuals with ASD.

I loved contributing to research, but I knew I wanted to seek advanced training to bridge science with hands-on care. In 2016, I was honored to be accepted to the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the UW where I continued to research issues related to ASD while broadening my clinical training to OCD and anxiety, my current specialties.

Throughout my doctoral training, residency, and postdoctoral fellowship, I specialized in evidence-based care for children, teens, and adults. I had the privilege of working across several highly regarded clinical settings including Seattle Children's Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, the Evidence-Based Treatment Centers of Seattle, The Seattle Clinic, and Brave Seattle.

In 2023, I founded my private practice to focus entirely on providing compassionate, tailored therapy to help clients thrive.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with family, friends, and in the outdoors - I love hiking, biking, sailing, and playing in the garden.

Clinical Values

Personalized Care

I treat people, not diagnoses - the heart of my practice is getting to know you as a whole person and designing a tailored treatment plan that honors your cultural identity, personal values, and unique interests. I also bring my own personality to therapy - you can expect my approach to be down-to-earth with a balance of empathy, humor, and fun.

Specialization

While I provide evidence-based treatment for a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns, my primary focus is specialized care for anxiety and OCD. I believe in practicing within the scope of my expertise, which is why I offer a free initial consultation to ensure my practice is the right match for your specific needs.

Action-Oriented & Empowering

Mental health challenges like anxiety and depression often trick us into avoiding the very things that help us feel better. I take an active, skills-based approach to help you think and act differently in response to stressors. My goal is for you to leave therapy equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and confidently pursue what brings you joy.

Rooted in Science

As both a research scientist and clinical psychologist, my care is firmly grounded in evidence-based methods. I continuously integrate the latest clinical research, pursue advanced training, and consult with colleagues so you receive the highest standard of modern mental healthcare.

Coordinated & Collaborative

When helpful, I coordinate directly with your primary care doctors, psychiatrists, or other healthcare providers. For children and teens, I work closely with caregivers—often through dedicated parent sessions—and collaborate with school staff to support social, emotional, and academic success across every environment.
